PHP originally represented the Personal Home page. It has started in 1994 as a number of the Common sets from two subjects of the Interface of the Gate written in programming language C by programmer Rasmus Lerdorf Danish/Greenlandic. Lerdorf originally has created these Personal Tools of the Home page to substitute a small set of originals Perl, which it used to support its personal home page. Tools were used to carry out of the task, such as show its resume and registration. It has united these sets from two subjects with its Translator of the Form to create PHP/FI for which was more functionality. PHP/FI switched on more performance for programming language C and could communicate with databases, allowing a building of simple, dynamic statements of a network. Lerdorf has released PHP publicly on June, 8th, 1995 on purpose to accelerate location of an error and to improve the code. This release have named version 2 PHP, and it already had the main functionality which PHP has today. It switched on Perl-like variables, processing of the form and ability to switch on HTML. Syntax was similar Perl, but has been more limited, less consecutive is more simple also.
Zeev Suraski and Andi Gutmans, two Israeli developers in Technion IIT, have copied the analyzer in 1997 and have generated basis PHP 3, changing a language name to recursive initial abbreviation PHP: the Hypertext Preprocessor. The development command has officially released PHP/FI 2 in November, 1997 after several months of testing. Subsequently, public testing PHP 3 has started, and official start has taken place in June, 1998. Suraski and Gutmans then have started copying of kernel PHP, having made Engine Zenda in 1999. They also have grounded Technologies Zend in Ramat Gan, Israel.
On May, 22nd, 2000 PHP 4, put in action Engine Zenda 1.0, has been released. On July, 13th, 2004 PHP 5 has been released and put in action by the new Engine II. PHP 5 switched on new features, such as the improved support to the programming oriented to the object, the extension of Data objects PHP (which defines easy and the serial interface to get access to databases), and numerous rises of job. For August, 2008 this branch to version 4.4.9. PHP 4 is not any more under development, and thus any upgrades of safety will not be released.
In 2008 PHP 5 became the unique steady version at development. Later static fixing will be absent from PHP and will be added in version 5.3. PHP 6 is under development near to PHP 5. The main changes switch on removal of magic inverted commas and a safe way.
For PHP there is no complete native support to sequences of multibyte or Unicode. Support unicode will be switched on in PHP 6. Many highly represent open initial projects, which stop to support PHP 4 in the new code for February, 5th, 2008, because of initiative GoPHP5 given by a consortium of developers PHP, advancing transition from PHP 4 to PHP 5.
It works both in 32-bit, and in 64-bit environment, but on Windows unique official allocation is 32-bit, demanding that Windows the 32-bit way of compatibility was allowed, using IIS in 64-bit environment of Windows. There are also concerning the third party the allocations accessible to 64-bit Windows.
