In 1986 Borland has entered the similar extensions also named Pascal of the Object, to the Turbo to product Pascal for the Macintosh, and in 1989 for Turbo Pascal 5.5 for Dosa.





When Borland refocused from MS-DOS to Windows in 1994, they have created successor Turbo Paskalja named Delphi, and have entered a new set of extensions to create that is known now as language Delphi.


Development Delphi has started in 1993, and Delphi 1.0 has been officially released in the USA on February, 14th, 1995. While the code, using the Turbo object model Pascal could be still collected, Delphi has shown new syntax, using class keyword in preference to object, the forming designer and properties, method pointers, and some other things. They were, obviously, are inspired by the International Organization on Standardization, therefore the project is oriented to the object of extensions, but many of distinctions for the Turbo of dialect Pascal (such as the project requirement, that all methods were real) have been ignored.


Language Delphi continued to develop within years to support new language concepts, such as 64-bit integers and dynamic sets.
